BAMBOO GROVE HAWAIIAN GRILLE

David "Kawika" was born and raised in Maui.  He lived in and around Lahaina and Up Country Pukalani.  He attended Sacred Hearts School in Lahaina.  He has fond memories of playing at the Shigeto Wakida Tennis

Courts down the street and attending the Hongwanji for after school Japanese studies.  Beverly (mom) was a teacher at Kamehameha III School, and George (dad) operated PD Wikiwiki restaurant on Front Street.  

Mahalo for a great, successful event on Saturday!  Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice lost two shop to the wild fires.  Additionally we will be supporting the Sequeria Families who collectively lost 7 homes.  Your cash donations will go directly to their employees, their families & communities who lost more than their jobs.

Update:  We are very thankful for all of our wonderful employees, friends, family & customers who collectively make the best Ohana! 

We were lucky enough to speak to David & Ululani Yamishiro yesterday and shared some of your wonderful stories and experiences of Maui. 

There was laughter and tears. 

They told us about the heartbreak and loss that continues to hit like waves.

Maui will not be able to exhale for months to come.  Then we hope for healing to begin.
